Bucket List of 2014: Learn to Surf

Bucket List of 2014: Learn to Surf

We know, we live in California and we don’t know how to surf…..YET! Surfing is not only a fun and amazing activity but it great exercise! You can burn over 200 calories an hour by riding those waves. Just about any place with a good surfing beach (California, Florida, Hawaii, etc.) will have surf instruction places lining up to teach there skills. Although surfing is amazingly awesome just remember its no joke people! Be safe and let us know how your experience was!

And if you’re not ready for the real deal just yet, we found an awesome place where you can BBQ, drink, visit with friends, and learn to surf all at the same time!. With their simulation waves you can really get a handle on what it will take when you get out to the big bad blue. Plus its so much fun! Check it out Wave House HERE!

Fun Fact Alert: A person who hangs around a beach pretending to be a surfer but isn’t is called a ‘hodad’. Don’t be a hodad guys! Learn to be one with the waves!

24 Days till Christmas

25 Days of Christmas – Places to Visit during the Holidays

Day 1 – The Grove ( Los Angeles)

Strap on your purses and get in the holiday spirit because the North Pole is coming to LA. In sunny California, it doesn’t feel like Christmas with  75 degree weather and summer dresses being flaunted. When we want to create the merry-happy scene we hop over to The Grove! The shopping center is filled with candy canes, fake snow that is drizzling down on the shoppers every night, and the second-tallest tree in the US. Bring the little ones or be big kids like us, Santa will be in his gingerbread house ready and waiting to take pictures with you!
