Day 4 – Yosemite/Big Bear

 

No Holiday season is complete without shredding snow or drinking hot cocoa in the great mountains of our State – California. Taking your loved ones to Yosemite or Big Bear has endless things to do like: learning to snowboard/ski, making snow angles, SLEDDING, ice skating with the green forest trees surrounding the rink, peg your sister/brother with a snowball (obviously, this means war), and snow tubing!

Yosemite is a 4.5 hr drive from Los Angeles – although it sounds like a hefty drive I can bet a bottom dollar that it is worth it!

Big Bear is a ONLY a 2 hour drive  from Los Angeles – so you can take a day trip to get out of the city madness!

25 Days of Christmas – Places to Visit during the Holidays

Day 1 – The Grove ( Los Angeles)

Strap on your purses and get in the holiday spirit because the North Pole is coming to LA. In sunny California, it doesn’t feel like Christmas with  75 degree weather and summer dresses being flaunted. When we want to create the merry-happy scene we hop over to The Grove! The shopping center is filled with candy canes, fake snow that is drizzling down on the shoppers every night, and the second-tallest tree in the US. Bring the little ones or be big kids like us, Santa will be in his gingerbread house ready and waiting to take pictures with you!
