This past Thursday we were fortunate enough to attend a Everclear concert promoting their new album “Invisible Stars.” I know you’re probably thinking ‘Whoa where have they been?’ The world hasn’t heard their musical genius since 2009! Well they are back! With three new members and two alums, they are still busting out those same great tunes. Their new album is in stores now! We LOVE this! Today Billabong is throwing a benefit event for the Cultivate Foundation. The event is being held at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, and will be showcasing some favorites in fashion, music, and art. This is such a great cause! Cultivate Foundation is a nonprofit that focuses on helping family farms and youth culinary education. The event is sold out so we hope you got your tickets! You’re not going to want to miss this!

Just days after “coming out” to the world in a letter to his fans, Frank Ocean has done it again! His latest single (above) from his upcoming album “Orange Channel”, is nothing but soothing tones and inspiring lyrics. We are sure that after probably the hardest thing he has ever done, he truly is living the “Sweet Life”. And rumors are flying all over Twitter today that “Orange Channel” will be released tonight after his appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Mr. Ocean has said he will release the new, much anticipated album as “a surprise to his fans”. No one knows for sure, but we sure hope the big day is today!! Frank Ocean is a very courageous and talented man. Get inspired!
Last night we had the pleasure of attending Project Ethos Back for Summer Event at The Avalon Hollywood. The night was filled with great fashion, bumping music, and live art. As we walked in our minds were already blown with live paintings done by Lab Arts’ very own Philip Lumbang and Meex One. The fun didn’t stop there! We took our seats and were instantly in awe as L.A.’s finest breakout designers showcased their lines on the runway. Lauren Stucky, Camiille Liim, Kent Denim, Candice Wu, Sheen, Xyst, Mihail Kian, Bert Keeter, Gordana Gehlhausen, and Michael Costello were among the talented designers to inspire us with their innovative lines.
